For the first
time Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) has organised the
campus placement programme at Kochi campus. It got overwhelming response
from the students, corporates and industry officials.
Seven companies has participated in the Campus Placement Programme at Kochi Campus. Which included Wipro Ltd, Synthite Industries Ltd, Muthoot Fincorp Ltd, Kerala Ayurveda Ltd, DM Healthcare (P) Ltd, Unisis Systems & Solutions (I) Pvt Lts and GTN Textiles Ltd.
"ICAI has shorlisted around 55 CMAs, out of which 20 secured placements at the venue," V Santhosh Kumar, Chairman, Kochi campus of ICAI said. An average salary package offered to the students is around Rs 6 lakh per annum and with highest pay reached to Rs 11 lakh per annum.
