Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa will be delivering the convocation address at the 34th convocation of the Anna University to be held here on November 22. Governor K Rosaiah will be presiding over the convocation to be held at the Centenary Auditorium of the University of Madras.
About 1.20 lakh will be presented their undergraduate degrees and around 35,000 will get their PG degrees. Besides, 690 PhD scholars would be accorded doctorates, 114 students would be given gold medals. While the Ph D scholars and gold medalists will receive their honours in person, others will be accorded their degrees in absentia.
