Prizes have been won by the following Research Scholars of the Department of Engineering Design
1.Vajravelu Sathiesh Kumar, PhD Research Scholar (ED10D006) has won the Outstanding Presentation Prize for his contribution on ‘Evaluation of LIBS Method for Remote Detection of a Salt Deposition on a Wind Turbine Blade’ at the 12th International Conference on Laser Ablation (COLA 2013) held during October 6-11, 2013 at Ischia, Italy.
2.Umesh, MS Research Scholar (ED10S007) has won the Second Prize in the Student Poster Competition at the International Underwater Technology Workshop held on October 21, 2013 at NIOT, Chennai.
